Anyone who has been around here for any length of time at all knows a sand storm can be real bad.We had one come in the other night about 5 pm. Most always come from the south and usually during the monsoon.
It just keeps moving along and the sky begins to darken. I know you are really enjoying this.!!?? But it is quite a sight.
If you are driving, you better get off the road if you can. You really don't want to be out in it.
The sky eventually just turns a dark red....it is really hard to describe. It darkens and finally blows over. Sometimes the guys in the sky see them and it is interesting to see it from the helicopter view.
The pictures looked good on the camera but look even better on the blog.
