I called my friend this morning to see if she would like to go down and catch the Metro and go down town. She said yes so we went down to Sycamore to catch the light rail.
We fearlessly approached the darn ticketthingeys and soon found we were not the only ones having trouble getting our tickets.
The sun was shining right on the screen so it was hard for us newbys to know what to do.
We got our tickets finally and got ready to board.We heard the two minute warning.
It was pretty empty to begin with and we got a good seat in a nice cooled atmosphere!
It wasn't too long till the car began filling up. By the time we got over by the college we had a pretty good load, many getting off there.
After we got down there,,,,,,3rd st..... we got off and wandered around and into this little hole in the wall. It said it had salads so that's something we like. No one was in there. This made me a bit nervous.
But we ordered and like I said we were the only ones in there and they gave me #39???? go figure
We had a nice salad....It was good, I was hungry.
We walked across to the Airways center and down to catch the train back. Nice morning.
Oh, it looks like a lot of fun. And really, did you even need a number? And does 39 mean that you were the 39th customer of the day? Serious thought could be given to the reason for the number. Hmm......(finger on side of face)....
ReplyDeleteThis trip on the Metro sounds much more "roomy" than that first trip we took. It does sound like a nice and tasty adventure.
